HomeRunner is a private marketplace app designed to connect neighbors in need of help around the house using trusted local teens and young adults they already know.
It provides a trusted network on both sides - getting families the help they need in an easily accessible app, while giving local young adults the opportunity to provide ad-hoc services in a safe environment and gain valuable work experience.
Safety is paramount at HomeRunner and is designed into all aspects of our platform. Parent registeration is required for any minor "runner", as well as parental approval of all linked contacts with families looking for support. Minors do not have access to any adults until linked approval is completed by their parents. Interactions between "runners" and families/adults requesting services is limited and automated as much as possible to ensure safety on both sides (ex: open-ended chat dialogues are not permitted)
